Round 2, pick 19 (51 overall)
BIO: Junior entry that impacted the Kansas State program the day he stepped onto the field. First-team All-Conference selection last year after totaling 110 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, five sacks and six pass breakups. Honorable Mention Big 12 selection as a sophomore after totaling 68-11-3. Named to several freshman All-America and All- Conference teams in 2000 after posting 38 tackles with six tackles for loss, then honored as the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Awarded All-Academic honors in the past.

POSITIVES: Game impacting defender who makes plays all over the field. Breaks down well, quick changing direction and displays great range. Fluid to the flanks, quickly fills the gaps and redirects to the action. Hard hitting, very sudden and leaves ball carriers stunned at the point of attack. Runs well and effectively covers tight ends downfield.

NEGATIVES: Lacks a sense of timing, plays out of control and overpursues the action. Does not always take the best angles. Must improve his hand technique getting off blocks.

ANALYSIS: Possesses a tremendous amount of innate abilities and has been a productive college defender who makes plays. May take some time adjusting to the pro style defense but should be starting midway through his rookie campaign.

PROJECTION: Late First Round
