Grading System
JASON JOHNSON
Position: QB
Class: Sr
School: Arizona
Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6'1, 210
40 Time: 5.03
Grade: 3.19

BIO: Awarded All-Conference honors in the past and a Two-year starter. Completed 58.3 percent of his throws last season for 3,327 yards with 16 TDs and 13 INTs after 57 percent-2,347-19-10 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Heady signal caller who lacks the physical skills for the next level. Sets up with solid footwork, patient in the pocket and in tune with wide outs. Puts air under his deep throws placing them in front of receivers and nicely times the release of his outs.

NEGATIVES: Slow setting up to deliver the ball, releases the pass off his back foot and does not always follow through properly. Lacks statute in the pocket, arm strength and throws a heavy ball. Cannot escape the rush and only marginal skills passing on the move.

ANALYSIS: Could be brought into camp because of his feel for the position but a practice squad player best served spending a year or two in NFL Europe while he develops his arm.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
