BIO: First-team All-Conference selection after moved into a starting role as a true sophomore. Used mainly at guard but also saw action at right tackle for the Longhorns. Came to the Scouting Combine overweight, out of shape and did not perform well.

POSITIVES: Athletic lineman who dominates opponents when focused. Quick into his run blocks or setting in pass protection, stays square and keeps defenders in front of him. Extends his hands jolting opponents, holds the point or turns defenders out and opens holes for the running game. Adequate footwork in space and displays lateral range.

NEGATIVES: Not effective taking linebackers out on the second level, not light on his feet and loses balance the longer a play proceeds.

ANALYSIS: Best pro position could be tackle where he his given more area to work and roam free. Size, natural power and athleticism will help him succeed if he makes football a priority.
