School: Stanford
Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6'2, 295
40 Time: 5.15

BIO: Two-year starter at both defensive tackle and on the nose. Finished his senior campaign with 26 tackles and one tackle for loss after 10 tackles with one behind the line of scrimmage the prior year. Cousin to former Washington Redskins receiver Art Monk.

POSITIVES: Quick, inside plugger best defending the run. Plays with forward lean, gets leverage on opponents and keeps chugging up the field. Strong at the point, pushes blockers off the line and works hard.

NEGATIVES: Best in a straight line and lacks the smooth change of direction or the ability to make plays laterally. Stiff, easily knocked off balance and overall game lacks explosion.

ANALYSIS: Picked up the tempo and production of his game as a senior which lends one to believe his best football lay ahead of him.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
