TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tampa Bay quarterback Brad Johnson stayed behind in California when the Buccaneers flew home Monday to a Super Bowl celebration.

Johnson stayed to take part in a parade through Disneyworld and to appear on NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

Johnson's Buccaneers defeated Oakland 48-21 in Sunday's Super Bowl.

"I haven't slept in about 48 hours," Johnson told Tampa television station WTVT Monday afternoon.

Most of his champion teammates headed to Raymond James Stadium for a welcome by an estimated 65,000 fans.

Johnson said he will take an overnight flight back to Tampa, arriving in time for the team's victory parade through downtown Tuesday afternoon. Then, it's right back to the airport for Johnson, who will fly to Honolulu to begin preparing for Sunday's Pro Bowl.

Johnson will log 6,800 air miles in a window of about 24 hours.

"It's still a dream come true," Johnson said.
