BIO: Two-year starter at center who originally red-shirted in 1997 before going on a Two-year church mission. Turned in a terrific performance at the Combine.
POSITIVES: Hard-working blocker on the pivot with excellent measurables and top weight-room strength. Blocks with good lean, strong at the initial point of attack and turns defenders from the play. Patient, fights hard to help out teammates.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the dominant base, not a knee-bender or light on his feet. Overextends and has difficulty blocking in space, lacking top footwork and balance.
ANALYSIS: Known as a high character prospect with good intangibles both on and off the field, Jackson has improved the past two seasons and offers a good degree of upside. Needs to completely transfer his weight room strength onto the football field as well as improve his balance.
