MARK WILSON

School: California
Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6'7, 314
40 Time: 5.41
Grade: 3.37

Selected by Washington Redskins
Round 5, pick 19 (151 overall)
BIO: First team all-conference selection after starting nine games at left tackle as a senior. Played his first two seasons on the right side.

POSITIVES: Tough, intelligent blocker that's been very steady the past four seasons. Blocks with good lean, stays square and keeps defenders in front of him. Gets movement from run blocks or seals the pocket using good angles. Patient, works his hands and places them nicely into defenders. Looks to destroy and mash opponents.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the fluid footwork sliding out to protect the edge and does more stepping than shuffling of his feet. Not effective in motion, lacks explosion and body adjustment.

ANALYSIS: A solid collegiate lineman, Wilson offers good upside for the next level and has the frame to add bulk. While his versatility is a plus, best as a backup on the strong side in the NFL.

PROJECTION: Early Sixth Round
