Position:OG Class: Sr School:
Oregon St. Conference:
Pac-10 Ht., Wt.: 6'4, 300 40 Time: 5.31 Grade: 3.02
BIO: Moved into the starting role at left tackle as a red-shirt junior. Played the first four games of the 2002 season before breaking his leg and sitting out the rest of the campaign.
POSITIVES: Hard-working college tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Quick setting in pass protection, immediately gets his hands up and effectively places them into defenders. Keeps his feet active, slides laterally protecting the edge and stays square. Blocks with leverage, body positioning and walls defenders from the play.
NEGATIVES: Lacks bulk, strength at the point and has difficulty finishing blocks. Does not explode into run blocks.
ANALYSIS: An adequate athlete, Kilkenny has a good understanding of the position but must improve his strength to have a serious shot at the next level. Ability to play in space or block on the move gives him the upper hand.
