BIO: Started nine games as a senior with passing numbers of 48.3 percent/1,178/8/9 after 48.9 percent/712/5/9 as a junior when he suffered a shoulder injury half-way through the season. Posted career numbers of 55.2 percent/1,277/12/8 as a sophomore. POSITIVES: Athletic collegiate thrower who never met the potential placed upon him. Sets in the pocket with solid footwork, sells the ball fakes and makes plays on the move. Effective when patient, has a fluid delivery and puts touch on his throws. NEGATIVES: Stares down targets, does not find the safety and misses open wide outs. Sprays his throws late on his timing routes and does not show much poise. ANALYSIS: Though his athletic skills have kept him on the radar screen, Lewis never matured or developed into a complete passer. Right now a reclamation project that needs work from the ground up.
