BIO: Played in a single game as a senior, suffering a stress fracture in his lower leg and sidelined the rest of the year. Started 14 games as a junior and finished with 69/4/3.
POSITIVES: Explosive pass-defending safety with solid cover skills. Quick-footed, instinctive and displays an explosive break on the pass. Instinctive and adds ball skills into the equation. Quick filling the gaps in run defense and a hard worker.
NEGATIVES: Does more knockdown tackling than squaring into ball carriers. Puts his head down and misses tackles.
ANALYSIS: Prior to the leg injury that forced him to the sideline last season, Curry was a highly rated safety and a prospect looked upon as a complete defender. The fact he had only one productive season in college will be questioned but he should eventually develop into a solid free safety at the next level.
