POSITIVES: Athletic defensive back with outstanding size-speed numbers for the next level. Technically sound, fluid moving about the field and quick-arriving on the scene. Tough supporting the run and squares into tackles. Strong at the point and defeats blocks on his way to the action. Fast enough to recover from mistakes. NEGATIVES: Not instinctive, lacks a feel for coverage and hands for the pick. Does not give you the idea he plays heads-up football. ANALYSIS: A durable defensive back who combines toughness and tenacity in run support, Eiland is best facing the quarterback. Would be effective at both safety spots in an interchangeable zone system. PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
