BIO: Three-year starter who finished with 110/6/2 last season, after junior numbers which included 66/5/3. POSITIVES: Heady, run defender best as a two-down linebacker. Quick to key, efficient and takes good angles to the action. Disciplined, scrapes laterally and stays with assignments. Works hard, snuffs out the ball and wraps up tackling. NEGATIVES: Not quick or explosive in any aspect, lacks the fluid change of direction and struggles in coverage. Does not get depth on drops or display much range. ANALYSIS: Spencer has adequate size as an inside linebacker as well as a nose for the ball and a natural feel in run defense. Solid back-up at a number of inside spots. PROJECTION: Early Fifth Round
