BIO: Three-year starter at both cornerback and wide receiver. Totaled 48/3/4 as a senior and 34/1/6 the prior season. Suspended in ‘01 for a conduct violation and did not play. POSITIVES: Physical, hard-hitting defensive back that works hard to break up the pass. Adequate back pedal off the line, decent awareness and works well with safeties. Stays with the action and gives top effort. NEGATIVES: Not fluid transitioning off the line, easily gives up the inside and lacks a burst to the play. Does not stay with receivers out from their breaks, has only marginal ball skills and a late reactor. Questionable character and said to have a violent temper. ANALYSIS: While he possesses solid size-speed numbers Allmond is a risk in almost every way. Must improve every facet of the game and learn to control himself. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
