POSITIVES: Hard-working defender with a good head for the ball. Quick off the snap, displays range and a burst of closing speed. Immediately diagnoses the action, gets leverage on opponents fights to get off blocks. NEGATIVES: Not tall for a down lineman, has difficulty defending the run and moved off the ball by opposing blockers. Rarely asked to drop into coverage or make plays in space. ANALYSIS: Possessing adequate size-speed numbers to be considered a prospect, Cordeiro now projects to either weak-side linebacker or in the middle.
