BIO: Three-year starter who led the team in tackles as a senior and junior. Posted 128 tackles last season after 128/2/6 the prior year. POSITIVES: Productive collegiate linebacker with a big heart but small upside. Intelligent defender that quickly reads the action, takes nice angles to the play and displays adequate speed to the flanks. Explosive moving up the field and wraps up tackling. NEGATIVES: Not efficient, lacks control and easily removed from plays. Better making plays forwards than in reverse. ANALYSIS: Ott is a defender that plays hard until the whistle blows but is limited by poor size-speed numbers. Must make his mark on special teams to find his way onto a roster.
