BIO: Captain of the team as a senior and totaled 58/252/2 on the ground in nine games, also adding 11 receptions for 131 yards. Second-team all-league selection as a junior after posting 201/979/4 on the ground. All-academic selection several times in college. POSITIVES: Aggressive, hard-working fullback effective carrying the ball. Runs with good lean, drives up the field and scrappy. Lays his shoulders into opponents, breaks arm tackles and displays good run instincts. Works hard on the inside and adequate catching the ball out of the backfield. NEGATIVES: Marginal blocker who lacks quickness off the snap and strength at the point. Best on the inside and not effective around the corner as a lead fullback. Gives better effort carrying the ball than blocking for the ball carrier. ANALYSIS: Thickly-built, Wade is a hard running ball carrier that gives second and third effort to pick up yardage yet must improve all aspects of his blocking. Cannot rely solely on his offensive skills and must prove in camp he is willing to do the dirty work. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
