BIO: Started eight of 11 games as a freshman and has since played every contest with the first team. All-ACC academic selection the past two years. POSITIVES: Hard-working lineman with good blocking awareness and football intelligence. Starts with knee bend, patient and effectively uses body positioning to wall defenders from the play. Stays square and quick getting his hands up. Decent footwork sliding in space and adequate blocking range. NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment and cannot redirect on the second level. Must improve his blocking strength; gets pushed back into the pocket and exploited by lesser opponents. ANALYSIS: A tall lineman with above average athletic skills, Strojny must physically mature and improve the power of his blocking base to have a serious shot of making an NFL roster.
