LARRY STEVENS
Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: Michigan
Conference: Big Ten
Ht., Wt.: 6'2, 241
40 Time: 4.81
Grade: 3.29

BIO: Two-year starter who totaled 27/8/4 as a senior, after 45/9/4 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Athletic defensive end whose game possesses a lot of explosion. Quickly gets off the snap, collapses laterally to defend the run or rushes the edge with speed. Immediately changes direction and works to get involved in the play. Keeps his pad level low, has a burst of speed in every direction and rarely off his feet.

NEGATIVES: Not big or bulky, lacks strength and the ability to shed blocks once engaged at the point of attack.

ANALYSIS: Stevens is a defender that flashes ability and great suddenness yet will never be a full-time defensive end at the next level. Could fill the role as a rotational pass rusher brought in to exploit big, immobile blockers.

PROJECTION: Late Seventh Round
