DARIUS OUTLAW
Position: WR
Class: Sr
School: Missouri
Conference: Big 12
Ht., Wt.: 6'1½, 185
40 Time: 4.52
Grade: 3.04

BIO: Former starting quarterback who made the switch to receiver prior to the 2002 season. Totaled 40/398/4 and 46/552/3 during his senior and junior campaigns, respectively.

POSITIVES: Good-sized athlete with a natural feel for the receiver position. Reads the defense, settles into the open spot on the field and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Comes back to the ball, adjusts to the errant throw and displays good eye-hand coordination. Gets vertical, looks the ball and a natural hand-catcher.

NEGATIVES: Slowed by jams off the line of scrimmage, not a sharp route runner and lacks a sense of timing. Does not have the second gear or ability to stretch defenses deep.

ANALYSIS: Still new to the position, Outlaw has done a terrific job the past two seasons and offers a good amount of upside. Needs to improve the finer points of catching the ball but could develop into a solid fourth receiver in the NFL.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
