BIO: Two-year starter who completed 55 percent/2,040/15/10 interceptions as a senior. Named as an Academic All American choice in 2003. Led Ohio State to a national championship as a junior with passing numbers of 59.4 percent/2,110/12/7.
POSITIVES: Intelligent collegiate passer with minimal skills for the next level. Sets in the pocket with solid footwork, withstands the rush and remains poised under pressure. Puts touch on throws when required and accurate in the short field. Always works to make positive plays either throwing the ball or running with it.
NEGATIVES: Stares down primary targets, changes his point of release and late on the timing patterns. Poorly places throws, and only average arm strength and high of the mark when he tries to zip the ball in.
ANALYSIS: A terrific collegiate signal caller with solid measurables, Krenzel's marginal accuracy and pass placement does not bode well for the next level. Long prospect that will never be anything more than a third quarterback.
