BIO: First team all-conference choice as a senior after totaling 45/11/3.5. Second team All Big Ten selection the prior year after 36/2.5/2.5. Started 12 games as a sophomore and finished the season with 38/9/3. POSITIVES: Competitive defender that plays with a good degree of explosion. Quickly gets off the snap, keeps his pads low and rarely off his feet. Immediately locates the ball and plays with great hustle. Drives up the field effectively using hand technique to stay off blocks and displays a burst of closing speed. Good inside run stuffer that holds his ground against double teams using leverage. NEGATIVES: Lacks the fluid change of direction, has difficulty getting to the flanks and best in a straight line. ANALYSIS: A hard-working defender, Anderson is a "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" prospect.
