BIO: Three-year starter who led the Panthers with tackling numbers of 137/10.5/4.5 as a senior after junior totals of 94/8/1. POSITIVES: Solid linebacker prospect with both size and instinct. Diagnoses the action, takes good angles to the ball and does a solid job with his reads. Scrapes well laterally, forceful stacking against the run and strong at the point. Holds his ground against blocks or effectively battles with tight ends between the numbers to defend the throw. NEGATIVES: Does not flash on the scene nor is he an explosive defender. Lacks speed to the flanks and on the blitz. Does not stand out in any single aspect. ANALYSIS: Though his tackling numbers were up as a senior, Moore did not have the campaign many expected. Seemed lackadaisical and as a result will watch his draft stock slip. Could still be effective as a strong-side linebacker placed over tight end. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
