BIO: All-Conference selection as a senior after finishing with 29//12. Started 13 games the prior season and posted 41/2/14 after 32/3/18 as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: Nice-sized cornerback with terrific speed and upside potential. Strong at the point of attack and likes to mix it up with opposing receivers throughout the route. Quick in his hips, easily runs with opponents downfield and displays a closing burst of speed. Offers a nice move on the ball and always working to make positive plays.
NEGATIVES: Plays backed-off the line of scrimmage yet lacks the great break on the pass and fluid backpedal. Slow transitioning to make a play on the pass.
ANALYSIS: Brooks offers a tremendous amount of natural skill and has been a ball-hawk throughout college. Needs to mature physically and though not as good as former USM product Patrick Surtain coming out of college, has that type of potential for the future.
