BIO: Two-year starter who carried the ball only 17/43/0 yet posted career high receiving numbers of 36/262/2. Junior rushing totals were 34/162/1 with receiving numbers of 21/120/0.
POSITIVES: Athletic lead fullback that does an exceptional job when the ball's in his hands. Quick off the snap and displays solid footwork carrying the ball with the ability to make defenders miss or get outside around tackle. Powerful ball handler effective on the inside with the ability to pick up yardage off initial contact. Good vision as both a ball carrier or blocker, runs good pass routes as a receiver and adjusts well. Possesses soft hands and makes the difficult catch running full speed.
NEGATIVES: Not strong at the point of attack blocking, gets little movement and cannot finish off defenders. Also gives inconsistent effort as a blocker and known as a fullback that would rather carry the ball.
ANALYSIS: An explosive athlete sized well, Fleming could ultimately turn into a solid feature runner at the next level. His versatility to be productive when the ball's in his hands will make him the first fullback drafted, but he can accomplish the little things at the next level.
