BIO: Junior college transfer that started the pasts two seasons at left guard. POSITIVES: Aggressive blocker that plays with great hustle. Sets with a wide base, quickly gets into blocks and turns opponents off the line. Fights with his hands, jolts opponents at the point or controls them once engaged in a block. Stays square, a solid position-blocker who seals opponents from the play. NEGATIVES: Stiff, not a natural knee-bender and gets tall as the play proceeds. Looks uncomfortable in space, lacking foot quickness and lateral slide skills. ANALYSIS: A classic overachiever, Ashkinaz makes the most of his abilities and gets the job done with hard work. Has a nasty streak and plays with a good degree of intelligence but a limited athlete with marginal upside for the next level. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
