BIO: Four-year starter who posted 119/6/21 as a senior after 79/3/15 the prior year. Has an arthritic condition in his right wrist that must be checked out. POSITIVES: Heady defensive back with solid cover skills. Disciplined, reads the quarterback and cognizant when the ball's in the air. Displays a burst of speed and flashes on the scene. Instinctive, takes good angles to the action and displays sideline-to-sideline range. Times his pass defenses well and has a nice move on the ball. NEGATIVES: Poor size-speed numbers for safety. Lacks the fluid backpedal and top man-to-man cover skills. Undersized and has tackles broken. ANALYSIS: Best characterized as a "mind over matter" prospect, King is smart on the field and could find a home as a dime back for a zone defense in the NFL. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
