 Santonio Thomas Grade: 3.2
 Position: DT
 Class: Sr
 School: Miami (FL)
 Conference: ACC
 Ht., Wt.: 6-2, 305
 40 Time: 5.31

BIO: Part-time starter the past two seasons who posted 11/3/1 in eight games as a senior after 22/1/1 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Well-built, run-stuffing lineman who has yet to meet expectations. Stays low to the ground getting leverage on opponents, drives up the field and bull rushes opponents off the line. Quickly gets off the snap with a nice first step, defeats blocks laterally, then makes plays on the ballcarrier. Holds the point and frees up linebackers.

NEGATIVES: Must develop moves to get off blocks. Does not display a closing burst of speed or the ability to change direction. Has been hampered by nagging injuries throughout his college career.

ANALYSIS: An underachiever with a good amount of upside potential, Thomas has yet to put the pieces together and really play a full season of ball. Needs to significantly increase his intensity and productivity to have any shot of making a final roster.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
