BIO: Former running back who moved into the starting safety position as a senior and posted 60 tackles.
POSITIVES: Athletic defensive back with excellent size/speed numbers. Reads the signal caller, anticipates the action, and helps out cornerbacks. Displays good sideline-to-sideline range, fast to the flanks and possesses a burst of closing speed. Explosive up the field defending the run. Holds his ground against blocks. Fluid turning in transition to cover the pass.
NEGATIVES: Inexperienced and possesses marginal ball skills.
ANALYSIS: Making a seamless transition into the secondary after being a reserve running back the previous three seasons, Weeks displayed a lot of skill last year. Obviously needs repetition, yet offers a lot of upside for the next level. Could develop into a starter two or three years down the road.
