BIO: Two-year starter who led the Eagles in receiving during his senior and junior campaigns. Totaled 52/745/3 last season after 46/720/5 the prior year. POSITIVES: Hard-working receiver best in the short field. Runs well laterally, works to make himself an available target, and gets vertical to make the reception. Extends in a crowd, looks the pass in displaying strong hands with the ability to pluck the ball out from the air. Gets inside positioning on opponents, then shields them away with his frame. Effective running after the reception. NEGATIVES: Takes his eyes off the ball, loses focus and drops too many passes. Must give effort blocking. Does not have the speed to run to the long throw. ANALYSIS: Lacking top size/speed numbers, Adams offers marginal upside for the next level. Must really stand out on special teams and consistently catch the ball this summer to have any chance to make a roster. PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
