BIO: All-Conference selection as a senior. Moved in with the first unit as a freshman and proceeded to start 45 games in college.
POSITIVES: Efficient, blind-side blocker best in confined quarters. Patient pass protector who stays square, making excellent use of body positioning and blocking angles. Immediately gets his hands into opponents and strong at the point. Can slide his feet off the edge and anchors at the point.
NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment, cannot redirect to linebackers on the second level or block in motion. Has difficulty finishing his run blocks.
ANALYSIS: A competitive lineman who goes hard until the whistle blows, Krug offers a nice feel for the game. Limited athletically, he must improve both size and strength to stick as a backup in the NFL.
