BIO: Three-year starter who struggled with injuries as a senior and posted just 148/803/7, adding 14/113 as a pass catcher. Junior numbers included 253/1,347/20 with 38/375/1 as a pass catcher. POSITIVES: Instinctive ballcarrier with the abilities to be a third down back at the next level. Patient, waits for holes to develop or slashes off defenders, then picks up positive yardage. Runs with forward lean, keeps driving up the field and wedges through small creases in the defense. Runs low to the ground with balance, keeps his feet off the initial hit and has a darting style. Quick footed with the ability to immediately sidestep defenders. Natural receiver out of the backfield who adjusts to the throw and has a burst of speed. NEGATIVES: Despite his 40 time, cannot run to daylight and caught from behind in the open field. Not a strong runner who picks up yardage off initial contact. Coming off a disappointing senior campaign. ANALYSIS: Productive and reliable in college, Reyes plays bigger than his listed size yet slower then his timed speed.
