BIO: Former defensive lineman who started the past two seasons at left tackle.
POSITIVES: Hard-working collegiate tackle best in confined quarters. Sets with a wide base, quickly gets off the ball and makes effective use of blocking angles. Strong at the point and turns defenders off the line, opening holes for the running game. Patient in pass protection, quick in his head and plays with a nasty attitude. Explosive at the point and uses all his assets to a maximum.
NEGATIVES: Limited athlete marginally effective off the line of scrimmage. Easily exploited by quick, nimble opponents. Lacks adjustment and stiff.
ANALYSIS: An ever-improving blocker, Stubbe has marginal size and upside potential for the next level. Showed a much more physical nature to his game as a senior and could catch on as a backup guard eventually sent to Europe to develop his game.
