POSITIVES: Instinctive defender who relies on great football intelligence to make plays. Immediately diagnoses the action, takes good angles to the ball and very efficient. Scrapes well laterally, solid in pursuit, and redirects well to the ballcarrier. Tough, and works very hard to get involved. Effectively uses his hands to slide off blocks and fierce moving up the field. Solid tackling technique. Disciplined and stays with assignments. NEGATIVES: Struggles in coverage and does not quickly change direction. Marginal strength at the point and not a linebacker who stops ballcarriers dead in their tracks.
