BIO: Became a full-time starter as a senior. Awarded All-Academic honors throughout his college career.
POSITIVES: Fluid, intelligent blocker, explosive at the point of attack. Plays with leverage, stays square and jolts defenders with his hands, knocking them back off the ball. Seals defenders with good body positioning, adjusts well and plays with leverage. Alert, looks to help out teammates and quick in his head. Outstanding with the shotgun snap as the ball swiftly gets back into the quarterbacks hands.
NEGATIVES: Not a drive blocker who opens up the middle of the field. Rarely gets movement from run blocks and marginal skills on the second level.
ANALYSIS: After being a career backup, Gandy did a fine job with the first team as a senior. Played every position on the offensive line in college and could be a solid utility lineman in the NFL.
