BIO: Two-year starter who has played both the right tackle and right guard positions. POSITIVES: Mammoth lineman with outstanding size. Intelligent blocker who effectively uses angles as well as body positioning to wall opponents from the action. Sets with a wide base, strong and moves defenders off the line. Nasty and looks to take opponents out. Easily anchors in pass protection, displays the ability to slide in space and works until the whistle blows. Extends his hands and fights to keep defenders away. NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment and has difficulty with nimble opponents. Not quick or explosive into blocks, and has difficulty in motion. ANALYSIS: A hard-working lineman with a good feel for the position, McMahon made major strides the past two seasons.
