BIO: Three-year starter who totaled 19/318/5 as a senior. Posted career high 35 receptions and 349 receiving yards as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: Solid pass-catching tight end marginally productive on the college field. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, quick getting to top speed and makes the reception in stride. Adjusts well to the errant throw, looks the ball in and possesses soft hands. Runs well laterally and works back to the quarterback, making himself an available target.
NEGATIVES: Underachieves as a blocker and must pick up the intensity. Lacks focus, concentration and does not work to finish plays.
ANALYSIS: Highly considered out of high school, Knott has had an average college career that fell well below expectations. Flashes skill on occasion, yet for the most part consistently lets a lot of makeable plays slide past him. Possibilities exist as a third tight end at the next level, but only should he significantly improve his overall blocking skills.
