BIO: Moved in and out of the starting rotation since his freshman campaign. Finished his senior season with 68/678/6 after career numbers of 99/1,138/10 as a junior.
POSITIVES: Tough, instinctive football player always working to make himself an available target. Quick releasing off the line into routes, consistently extends his hands and snatches the ball away from his body. Uses the sidelines well, shields defenders away with his frame and protects the ball. Comes back to the pass and helps out the quarterback. Elusive in the open field and always working to pick up positive yardage.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the deep speed and ability to run to the long ball. Not big for a possession wideout and has difficulty against strong opponents.
ANALYSIS: A high-quality person with marginal athletic skills, Magner has been a consistent college player, yet does not project at well to the next level. Could find a home as a slot receiver and previous experience as a return specialist bodes well for him.
