POSITIVES: Straight-ahead, between-the-tackles runner with adequate power and strength. Sees the field, displays footwork in a small area and drives forward, picking up yardage off initial contact. Has a burst of speed and works runs. Recognizes blocking assignments and has improved his overall skill in the department. NEGATIVES: Not an elusive ballcarrier who makes something out of nothing or avoids defenders. Loses a lot of momentum when he must change direction. ANALYSIS: Sized well with adequate speed, Cox has seen limited playing time because of the talent in New Mexico.
