 Jonathan Fanene Grade: 3.1
 Position: DE
 Class: Sr
 School: Utah
 Conference: MWC
 Ht., Wt.: 6-3, 285
 40 Time: 4.97
  Selected by: Cincinnati Bengals
  Round 7, pick 19 (233 overall)

BIO: Former junior college transfer who broke into the starting lineup as a senior, totaling 22/5.5/3. All-Academic performer who has a bench press of over 400 pounds.

POSITIVES: Good athlete coming off a breakout season. Plays with forward lean, displays both quickness and explosion as well as a burst of speed. Drives up the field, redirects to the action and always on balance. Jolts opponents with his hands working to get off blocks. Can drop off the line into space and gets depth in coverage. Quick changing direction and makes plays up and down the line of scrimmage.

NEGATIVES: Slow shedding blocks once engaged at the point or easily pushed from his angle of attack. Does not immediately locate the ball.

ANALYSIS: An undersized pass rusher with the ability to make plays in every direction of the field, Fanene offers speed and explosion for the next level. A prospective right defensive end who must improve his run-defending skill.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
