BIO: Posted 14/414/5 as a senior after 12/256/1 the prior year. Played in four games last season before tearing an ACL in his knee and has battled through a collection injuries in college which include ankle, groin and hamstring ailments.
POSITIVES: Good-sized wideout productive on the football field. Smart, follows the quarterback across the field and works to make himself an available target. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, makes the reception in stride and possesses soft hands. Displays quickness running routes and extends to catch the pass away from his frame. Adequate blocker down the field.
NEGATIVES: Lacks the speed to take it deep or beat defenders down the field. Marginally productive and has missed extensive playing time because of the injuries.
ANALYSIS: After finally starting a season 100 percent healthy and getting off to a fast start, Lyman was once again hit by the injury bug last year. Possesses good pass-catching qualities yet durability remains a major issue. Worked out well at the combine, but is still a medical risk.
