BIO: Four-year starter named All-America last season. Missed the .01 season after knee surgery and had shoulder surgery last December. Used at both left and right tackle.
POSITIVES: Big-bodied, position blocker with a good feel for the game. Works to bend his knees, plays with forward lean and adequate leverage. Immediately gets his hands into opponents, easily turning them off the line or engulfing them at the point of attack. Plays with a nasty attitude, yet is quick in his head and works well with teammates. Anchors in pass protection and opens holes for the running game. Explosive at the point and stays with blocks until the whistle blows.
NEGATIVES: Not light on his feet, overextends and lacks top blocking range. Stiff and does not block with good balance. Durability issues in the past included a shoulder injury most recently.
ANALYSIS: A technically sound lineman who combines good size and football intelligence, Munoz is best in a small area. Has limited potential on the left side, though he could surprise in a zone-blocking scheme.
