2005 NFL Draft Draft Tracker Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Round 6 Round 7 Players Positions Schools Conferences NFL Teams

 Victor McClure Grade: 3.07
 Position: TE
 Class: Sr
 School: Tennessee
 Conference: SEC
 Ht., Wt.: 6-3, 310
 40 Time: 5.21

BIO: Two-year starter who did not catch a ball as a senior after posting just 1/11/0 the prior year.

POSITIVES: King-sized tight end who acts like a sixth lineman on the field. Big, nasty blocker who buries opponents off the line. Strong at the point, attacks assignments and gets movement from run blocks. Solid position blocker who seals opponents from the play.

NEGATIVES: Lacks balance, quickness and beaten by speedy opponents. Offers almost no skill as a pass catcher.

ANALYSIS: Built more for the offensive line then tight end, McClure may be better suited at offensive guard. Has a slight chance to catch on with a team that keeps three tight ends then puts him on the field during short-yardage or goal-line situations.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
