 Jovan Haye Grade: 3.33
 Position: DE
 Class: Jr
 School: Vanderbilt
 Conference: SEC
 Ht., Wt.: 6-2, 284
 40 Time: 4.8
  Selected by: Carolina Panthers
  Round 6, pick 15 (189 overall)

BIO: Two-year starter who leaves for the NFL a year early after producing just 48/4/1 as a junior. Sophomore totals included 76/4.5/3.

POSITIVES: Athletic defensive end who lacks top size for the next level. Plays low to the ground, getting underneath opponents, drives up the field and effectively uses hand technique to beat blocks. Quickly changes direction, moves well laterally, displaying speed to the sidelines. Disciplined, reads the action and does not mindlessly run around the field. Consistently doubled or focused by opponents.

NEGATIVES: Undersized and handled at the point by a single blocker. Driven off the line when teams run in his direction. Lacks the explosive first step off the snap for a smaller end.

ANALYSIS: Marginally productive last season, Haye was a bit premature in leaving for the NFL. Has skills to work with, yet must improve his strength, add bulk, and make more plays on the field.

PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
