Ryan Grant - HB

 Ryan Grant Grade: 3.48
 Position: HB
 Class: Sr
 School: Notre Dame
 Conference: I-A Ind.
 Ht., Wt.: 6-1, 215
 40 Time: 4.56

BIO: Part-time starter the past two seasons, totaling 127/515/5 on the ground as a senior, after 143/567/3 the prior year. Posted career numbers of 261/1,085/9 as a sophomore when he started 13 games.

POSITIVES: Well-built inside runner best in a straight line. Sees the field, follows blocks and finds the opening in the defense. Hits the hole hard and has a strong lower body, which enables him to break tackles then pick up yardage off initial contact.

NEGATIVES: Has difficulty changing direction at full speed and not an elusive back who makes defenders miss. Neither quick nor explosive in any action. Though strong, not a back who moves the pile. Rarely used in the passing game.

ANALYSIS: Possessing solid size/speed numbers, Grant displays flashes of ability yet needs a lot of work to become a complete back.

PROJECTION: Early Fifth Round
