BIO: Junior college transfer who totaled 7/96/1 as a senior after 9/73 the prior year.
POSITIVES: Nice-sized, athletic tight end with a good degree of upside for the next level. Runs solid routes and immediately gets into proper pass catching position. Offers the quarterback a nice target then extends to make the reception away from his frame. Quickly sets up pass blocking, strong at the point of attack and gets movement from run blocks. Works to annihilate defenders blocking on the second level.
NEGATIVES: Does not play with great balance. Overextends into blocks and loses strength. Marginally productive on a small school level.
ANALYSIS: Though he made strides as a senior and stands out on film, Curtis is a project in the works and a prospect who will need time and repetition. Possesses the underlying skills to develop into a solid second tight end and worth considering in the late rounds.
