2005 NFL Draft Draft Tracker Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Round 6 Round 7 Players Positions Schools Conferences NFL Teams

 Morris Sanders Grade: 2.88
 Position: OG
 Class:
 School: W. Carolina
 Conference: Southern
 Ht., Wt.: 6-2, 320
 40 Time: 5.41

BIO: Two-year starter at guard who served as a top back-up during his sophomore campaign.

POSITIVES: Quick, hard-working, short area blocker. Jolts opponents at the point of attack, displays good overall body strength and works to keep his pads low. Strong, easily hides oncoming rushers from their angle of attack in pass protection or turns them off the line. Effectively uses blocking angles and keeps his feet moving throughout the action.

NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment, blocking range, and balance off the line of scrimmage. Not a natural knee bender. Must do a better job extending his hands and keeping defenders away.

ANALYSIS: A hard worker but marginal athlete, Sanders could back up at the next level for a power-running offense or zone blocking team.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent
