BIO: Former Colorado transfer who passed for a career high 68.6 percent/3,804/33/8 as a senior. Also added 181 yards on the ground with another score. POSITIVES: Improving passer with marginal size for the next level. Patient in the pocket, buys time for receivers and puts touch on throws when necessary. Can elude the rush, make the throw on the move or pick up yardage with his legs. Accurate in the short and intermediate field displaying good speed on throws. Times the outs well and does not have receivers waiting on the ball. NEGATIVES: Has a tendency to stare down the primary target and does not always find the safety. Not averse to throwing the ball in a crowd. Indecisive in the face of pressure. ANALYSIS: An accurate passer between the numbers and a signal caller who also places the deep outs well, Ochs really became a passer rather than just a thrower as a senior. Rounded out his entire game and may have bought himself a spot in camp next summer. At the very least a third quarterback at the next level who would benefit from a season or two in Europe.
