Leron McCoy - WR

 Leron McCoy Grade: 3.43
 Position: WR
 Class: 4Sr
 School: Indiana (PA)
 Conference: Pennsylvania
 Ht., Wt.: 6-1.5, 211
 40 Time: 4.43
  Selected by: Arizona Cardinals
  Round 7, pick 12 (226 overall)

BIO: Three year starter awarded All-Conference honors every season since his sophomore campaign. Posted 36/701/10 as a senior after 36/521/6 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Nice sized receiver with the speed necessary to stretch defenses and break the long one. Fast down the sidelines, displays a second gear and adjusts nicely to the deep throw running full speed. Displays good timing and anticipation, extends then looks the pass into his hands. Keeps the play in bounds running after the reception, working to pick up positive yardage. Possesses relatively soft hands and displays the ability to pull the pass out of the air. Consistently doubled by opponents yet comes away with the big reception. Effective body catcher who also uses his frame to shield away opponents. Solid position blocker down the field.

NEGATIVES: Not quick-footed and tends to round off routes. Does more holding than actual blocking and does not work hard to finish. Considered a bit of an underachiever and only occasionally plays up to his level of ability.

ANALYSIS: Possessing outstanding size/speed numbers for the next level, McCoy has the ability to be a productive NFL receiver should he focus on the task at hand. His ability to stretch the field is intimidating, yet will never be anything more than a practice-squad player unless his effort is more consistent.

PROJECTION: Late Fifth Round
