Santonio Holmes - WR

 Santonio Holmes Grade: 4.26
 Position: WR
 Class: Jr
 School: Ohio State
 Conference: Big Ten
 Ht., Wt.: 5-10.5, 188
 40 Time: 4.4
  Selected by: Pittsburgh Steelers
  Round 1, pick 25 (25 overall)

BIO: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors after his sophomore and junior campaigns. Led the team in receiving last year with 53/977/11, also averaging 12.8 yards on 11 punt returns. Sophomore totals included 55/769/7.

POSITIVES: Consistent wideout with a polished game. Fluid releasing off the line, quickly gets into breaks and separates from opponents. Sneaks downfield and easily adjusts to the errant throw running full speed. Physical, battles to make the tough catch and is effective running after the reception. Effectively uses the sidelines and gets vertical, high-pointing the ball and plucking the pass from the air. Consistently extends to make the reception away from his frame and is a reliable pass-catcher.

NEGATIVES: Below-average blocker. More of a one-speed receiver who does not have a sudden burst.

ANALYSIS: Though not explosively fast or very large, Holmes is a solid football player who finds a way to produce. Should flourish as a second receiver in the NFL.
