Curtis Brown - DT

 Curtis Brown Grade: 3.32
 Position: DT
 Class: Jr
 School: Brigham Young
 Conference: Mountain West
 Ht., Wt.: 6-3, 301
 40 Time: 5.12

BIO: Second-team All-Conference selection as a senior after posting 31/3/1.5 in 10 games. Junior totals included 26/9/4.5.

POSITIVES: Thick, athletic defensive lineman best on the inside. Explodes off the snap with a great first step and bull-rushes blockers up the field. Tenacious, goes very hard and makes plays down the line of scrimmage. Effectively works hands to get off blocks, stays on his feet and gets to the action.

NEGATIVES: Does not consistently play with good pad level. Not quick locating the ball. At times easily stymied by a single blocker. Out of position last season at defensive end.

ANALYSIS: A solid athlete who tests well, Brown has upside for the next level. Must turn up the intensity level and play in the proper system yet worth a middle-round selection.

PROJECTION: Mid Sixth Round
